Turbine Blade Casting for GT50

In this video, we take you inside our newly established casting cell, show you the advanced processes and equipment that enable us to produce complex turbine components from super-alloys.

20 Nov 2024

Discover how we create precision molds using both block and shell molding techniques, and explore our state-of-the-art vacuum induction furnace, which allows us to melt and pour super-alloy materials with precision. From wax patterns to finished turbine blades, we show the meticulous steps involved in casting, including mold heating, vacuum pouring, and final surface cleaning. This new capability ensures we can efficiently produce high-quality turbine blades and other critical components right here at PC1.
