EXTERIOR CONCEPT
Inside and out the HX50 represents a masterpiece of sleek, elegant contours, sculpted along futuristic lines for maximum performance, and providing the utmost in enjoyment for pilot and four passengers
Every feature has been engineered for the ultimate in utility, safety, convenience and especially aesthetic appeal, from streamlined blades to deep panoramic windows to sturdy undercarriage, with a choice of two types of landing gear. The doors open wide for accessibility, making it easy for passengers to enter and exit, while a generous luggage compartment is provided for stowing your bags. Passengers can settle in to relax and wonder at the sights of the journey, with exceptional viewing opportunities created by a continuous sweep of windows that includes a skylight and a glass panel below at foot level.
Wheels
The retractable undercarriage is ideal for effortless point-to-point long distance travel where fast cruising flight is a priority and the only limitation is your imagination. At the same time it offers optimum manoeuvrability on the ground.
Landing Gear
Both the nose and main gear retract, using a simple hydraulic system, isolated from the flight controls and able to lock the gear up, down and deploy even in the event of a complete lack of hydraulic power.

Inspired by birds in flight, HX50’s retractable landing gear allows efficient high speed cruise, while enjoying effortless ground handling wherever you choose to land.

Skids
As an alternative to retractable wheels, the beautifully designed, modern fixed skid system features a wide skid heel and steel wear shoes, perfect for easier landing in remote locations with rugged terrain, including snow, mud and loose gravel.
Landing Gear
Not only do you save on weight, but you can be ready for the roughest hill top or the muddiest field – practically no destination is unattainable, however challenging the terrain you are facing.

An aesthetic triumph, streamlined and elegant but at the same time robust, assuring top performance in off-airfield locations, on unprepared surfaces, in almost any situation, however unexpected.

Luggage Compartment
Hill have made it a top priority to design a luggage compartment spacious enough to hold all the bags a pilot and four passengers would need for any mission.
A generous capacity of 0.7 cubic metres, a lot more than you get in the average car, that offers the right dimensions and proportions to support all your pursuits and passions: suitcases, golf bags, rucksacks, skis, or gear for fishing, camping, climbing, photography and much more.
Whatever adventure beckons, whether it’s a weekend trip with the family, a heli-skiing expedition to the mountains with friends, or a point-to-point business rendezvous, you will find it easy to stow and retrieve your luggage in a space that has been designed to be surprisingly roomy and flexible, so that you can arrange your luggage in any configuration that suits you.
Easy access
With doors that open extra wide front and back, the HX50 has set a new standard for passenger access and comfort in a light helicopter.
Panoramic Ceiling
For the feeling that you are not just looking at the sky, but immersed in it, nothing can compare to the surround-style expanse of glass windows that is unique to the HX50.
Whether you are at the controls or a passenger, the experience of freedom created by being surrounded by a futuristic array of uninterrupted windows, including a large skylight, allowing unobstructed views in all directions, is vastly superior to anything available in any existing light helicopter.

Retractable Blades
By choosing the option of retractable blades you could even keep your HX50 in less space than a two-blade helicopter.
When folded back in the retracted position, the blades fit perfectly to the shape of the aircraft, making it compact enough to fit into confined spaces. Used together with the Helimove Smart System, you get even greater ease of control on the ground.
