HX50 Fuselage and Doors
We’re almost there! Another important landmark has just been reached with the first of the upper fuselage components being laminated.
This is the cowling that goes around the exhaust at the back of the top of the fuselage, one of the suite of parts that make up the last visual details of the HX50 fuselage to be completed.

In other composites news, Fuselage 7 is also almost complete. The second set of doors is about to be laminated as part of a full suite of tools for the two prototype helicopters that will be presented in December.
An amazing effort by the team at DC2 has resulted in a completely streamlined composites manufacturing process that has evolved and improved with each new airframe.
