The GT50 Turbine

We have now moved from digital renders to physical, high-tolerance components. The "heart" of the engine - the Gas Generator Rotor - is fully assembled, establishing a critical milestone in our timeline to run the engine by early May.

Key Engine Components Completed:

• Compressor & Diffuser: The impeller wheel, machined from high-grade aerospace titanium, has been mated with the vane diffuser. The diffuser requires exacting tolerances to maintain a gas-tight seal, achieved through precise brazing of the front and rear halves.
• Combustion System: The annular combustion liner has been updated for better cooling and thermal stress resistance. We have finalised the fuel system architecture, validating ignition capability and flame stability through extensive rig testing.
