The fixed skid landing gear option, available at no extra cost, might suit you if you are planning to explore a glacier or a desert, or anticipate encountering adverse weather conditions, or simply if your lifestyle demands maximum flexibility and robustness off-airfield. Your aircraft will be identical in every other way to the standard HX50, maintaining its beautiful aesthetic contours. Moreover, the Hill pop-out emergency float system is designed to work with either landing gear system.
